My Experiences at the Emerson Center for Oral Health
"Super pleasant and relaxing environment. The staff was so supportive and understanding of my fear. By the time I was driving home I knew I found the Dentist and staff that would help me get the necessary care and maintenance done to keep my mouth and teeth healthy.
The waiting area really helps the stress level stay at a minimum. Actually, it takes it away because it has such a home-like feeling. I loved how the staff and doctor fully explained to me what they were going to do before they did it. The staff was so reassuring and understanding of my situation. They really made me feel at ease. It had a huge impact on me in a positive way.
I was so impressed with the way Dr. Emerson sat and spoke with me about my concerns. He showed a level of patience I have not seen.
My overall experience has been the exact opposite of what past experiences have done to me. I realize that I am one of the most fearful, anxious and hard to work with patients, but Dr. Emerson and all of his staff have changed my total mindset to keep coming back."

Five years ago, I was told by several dentists that due to severe jaw bone loss, lower dentures could not be made to fit snugly without first doing a subperiosteal implant.
Having no desire to spend the money or to go through the procedure, i opted to do nothing - I just continued to wear the annoying, poorly fitting dentures. Not only was chewing a problem, but due to the bone loss, the profile of my face looked like I didn't have any teeth.
I returned to the prosthodontist, who recommended Dr. Ben Emerson. "He's the Best," he said. Quite the understatement! Dr. Emerson, as well as his entire staff are the most professional and compassionate team that I have encountered in 70 years. The complete procedure was thoroughly explained, the follow-up after each phase was exceptional, and the results are fabulous.
Yes, it can be expensive, but it is a quality of life issue. No more annoying, loose denture; no more choking on poorly chewed food; and best of all a much improved appearance.
Only wish I had done this five years ago!
